The Princess And The Pea

My skin is very sensitive. It reacts to anything that is less than royal. I can't wear any jewellery that is not either 18k gold (or higher) or platinum for an extended length of time. My skin breaks out in rashes and cracks and reacts. I got lovely pearl and turquoise drop earrings set in silver. I just could not resist them, they were so very pretty and I wore them often (for about one week to work). Today my earlobes are itchy and cracked. If only, I had a bank balance that kept up with my skin!
